God has also been connecting us to the larger pan-Wesleyan sisters and brothers. In May after attending the Awakening Project (Wesleyan Holiness based) gathering in Wilmore, KY at the campus of Asbury University, Cindy felt the tug of the Spirit to ask the leadership there if they might consider bringing this “Awakening Project,” focused on Gen Z young adults, to Australia.
By God’s prevenient grace, our ANZ Field Strategy Coordinator for the Australia/New Zealand field, Satish Manmothe and his wife Manisha, were in the US for training at the Global Ministry Center in Lenexa Kansas the first week of September. This divine timing allowed our leaders to travel with us the next week to meet some of the leaders of the Awakening Project movement at the “New Room” conference (by Seedbed ministries) in Montgomery, Alabama. We give God praise for how He is at work and ask you to continue to pray with us about this possibility as we plead with the Holy Spirit for renewal and awakening to Gen Z and the whole body of Christ in Australia.
